Mouse lateral amygdala engram imaging across auditory fear conditioning and consolidation
Longitudinal imaging of LA principal neurons from home-cage baseline through auditory fear conditioning, immediate and 12 h posttraining home-cage sessions, and memory test, to track offline reactivation of retrieval-defined engram neurons.

Notes
Dexamethasone (5 mg/kg i.p.) given preoperatively; lens secured with OptiBond adhesive and UV-curable dental cement (Tetric Evoflow). Mice single-housed for 1 wk before experiments. CNMF-E ROIs were manually curated. The Inscopix parts are GRIN lenses only; imaging used the UCLA V4 miniscope, though the paper cites the Miniscope-LFOV paper (Guo et al. 2023) for it. Optogenetic (scFLARE2, HSV-NpACY) and TTX cannula experiments in the same paper were not imaged. Decoding code is also archived on Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18838821).
