This wiki is written in English, but it's designed to be read comfortably in any language using your browser'sbuilt-in translation. This page explains how.
Translate this site with your browser
- Chrome / Edge (desktop)
- Right-click anywhere on the page → Translate to [your language]. Or click the small translate icon in the address bar.
- Safari (macOS / iOS)
- Click the aA icon in the address bar → Translate to [your language]. On iPhone/iPad, tap the same icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Firefox (desktop)
- A translate icon appears in the address bar when a non-native-language page loads. Click it and choose your language. If you don't see it, install the Firefox Translations add-on.
- Mobile browsers
- Chrome and Edge on Android offer a translate banner at the bottom of the page automatically. Safari on iOS uses the address-bar icon described above.
What you should know
- Some terms stay in English on purpose. Tool names (Miniscope, V4 Miniscope), software (Bonsai, DeepLabCut, CNMF-E), and domain terms (GCaMP, GRIN lens, ROI) are wrapped so they aren't mistranslated. If a translated page mentions an English word that looks technical, that's why.
- Edit forms and code blocks are not translated. If you're contributing content, please use English in form fields and code so the data remains consistent across the wiki.
- Quality varies. Browser translation handles narrative text well, but tables and equations may render imperfectly. If something is confusing, switch back to English, the translate toggle works both ways.
