Hi,

I'm currently signed up to attend the next miniscope workshop. Unfortunately, I missed the April workshop and waiting on the next date to be announced. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone just starting out? Is there anything I can do while waiting to attend the workshop? Has anyone tried building a scope before attend the workshop?

Hi Dan,
There are many labs that have set up a Miniscope system in their lab without attending an in person workshop. I suggest you look through the power point presentations in the 'Online Workshop Resources' page (can be found in guide bar on the left of the Miniscope.org page). Next you will want to walk through the 'Guides and Tutorials' listed on the main page.

This should be all you need to get up and running.
