Hello Everyone, I just setup a signup sheet for our 5th Miniscope Group PCB Order. Ordering as a group decreases per board costs which is significant when ordering only a few PCBs. Expect the DAQ PCB to run about $200 a board and the CMOS Imaging Sensor PCB to run about $115 a board. The company making the PCBs in located in California but can ship internationally. If you are interested please add your information here.

Hi Daniel, will the CMOS imaging Sensor PCB order include the actual camera sensor? I have been trying to find it online and it seems like it is usually sold in quantities of over a thousand (for example by Arrow: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/mt9v032c12stm-dr/on-semiconductor). I also noticed that in the procurement of materials section of the WIKI it is mentioned that Sierra may be able to source the item.

Thanks in advance! Victor -- Murphy Lab, U-Mich.

Hi Victor,

Yes the CMOS sensor generally is sold in plates of 152. If you are part of the group PCB order through Sierra Circuits then they will source the part for you.

Hello all people who are going to group order in June/July! I am a postdoc at U-Michigan and would like to gauge interest in group ordering filter sets. As stated in this wiki, an order of 20 or more filter sets results in filter prices of ~$20/filter. I have recently obtained a quote from chroma and learned that when buying only four sets, the price is closer to $150/filter. If there is enough interest, I am happy to coordinate the order. Please reply to this wiki or email me: vcazares@umich.edu

Thanks! Victor

Is the June/July group order still open for additional orders?

Hi all,

We completed a group order for the Em/Ex/Dichroic filters. It was very easy and painless, all labs were billed separately and saved A LOT of money. Anyway, I am no longer organizing this, but as I said it is very easy for anyone to do in the future again!

Thanks, Victor
