Hey guys, I see the parts list and I'm happy to order them. But I've never dealt with a circuit board printer/assembler like Sierra Circuits (furthermore they're not answering the phone). I think it would be super useful to assemble an example "standard" order email or order sheet or whatever exactly we'd send to Sierra. What do you think? If you're cool doing that, then disregard the rest of this message. Otherwise...
Can you send some idea of what we'd need to tell them to get them to assemble our boards? Are the relevant terms "printing" for printing a board and "assembly" for putting parts on it?
I see this:
https://github.com/daharoni/Miniscope_DAQ_PCB
And the parts lists. But I'm not sure exactly which parts go with what and (relatedly?) which of those github files to send to correspond to each board and what I verbally need to tell them in addition, if anything.
So is it correct that we'd want them to print 3 boards for us
1) LED board
2) CMOS board
3) DAQ box board
?
For each of those am I right in the following statements:
1) LED board - no parts for Sierra to add to board
2) CMOS board - add CMOS Aptina chip, and ?coax port and ?? Else
3) DAQ board - lots of stuff.
Finally, do we have Sierra order the parts to put on the boards? Or do we have them somehow sent to Sierra? I see that's what you recommend at least in the case of the CMOS, so does that mean they order the rest for us if we ask them? Is it obvious how to do that and do your sheets cover telling them what to put where?
