Has anyone had success imaging tdTomato labeled cells with miniscopes? If so, what changes did you make? What LED did you use? Any other tips?

Thank you for replying... I think I'm going start by building the stock miniscope... but I'm really interested in increasing the magnification in the future... thanks again!

Hi,

I'm currently signed up to attend the next miniscope workshop. Unfortunately, I missed the April workshop and waiting on the next date to be announced. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone just starting out? Is there anything I can do while waiting to attend the workshop? Has anyone tried building a scope before attend the workshop?

Future Directions / Increasing the Magnification

Hi,

What would be needed to increase the magnification of the miniscope? If I understand correctly, the scope is currently 6-7x magnification... I would like to image at 20-40x magnification. Is this possible?
