HI EVERYBODY,

I am Dr Sourajit Mitra Mustafi, Senior Scientist from Nanoscope Technologies LLC, Bedford, TX. We have started working with Miniscope camera very recently. There are couple of problems we are facing. They are listed here.

1. In order to focus the Miniscope with grin lens over the cortex of mice we have to take out the camera and manually adjust the lens. Is there any way or any setup which can adjust the position of the grin lens while the camera is attached with the mouse head?

2. There is the blue excitation light which comes out of LED. This is used for fluorescence excitation. In the control panel of the miniscope software even when we

put the LED intensity as 0 % still we observe blue light coming out! We cannot completely shutoff the LED when the camera is ON!

Is there is anyway to shutoff the blue LED off?
