Hi Clay,

I have been able to measure neuronal activity in CA1 using the Thy1:GCaMP6s (line 4.12, http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0108697) using the finchScope and with a high resolution microscope we designed in our lab. I have not tested it with the UCLA miniscope but I am sure it will work as well.

I think the main problem is that the labeling density is nowhere as high as using AAVs, but there are several advantages to using transgenic animals.

If you are still interested I can test the UCLA miniscope and let you know.

Hello Everyone,

I have some extra plastic body sets and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trading them for 12.5 mm achromatic lenses. I would trade one set (body,a sensor holder, and filter cover AND baseplate with magnets) for two achromatic lenses of 12.5 mm. The plastic parts have not been assembled or used with animals.
