Hi Daniel,

Thank you! This is the image, it is a prism glued with the lens.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your quick help! I contact with Grintecth and their reply is confusing, could you help to have a look? They said there is no pitch of the prism or "no gradient refractive index within the prism", do you know the meaning? Does it meaning I did not need to cut the lens I used now?

They said: "The pitch length of the lens is about 0.25, the leg length of the prism is 2.0mm. But it makes no sense to define pitch length of the prism, because there is no gradient refractive index within the prism."

Optics / discussion about prism
« on: February 22, 2018, 10:06:36 AM »
if we add a 2.0X2.0X2.0 mm3 prism to the 2 mm lens and it is hard to focus with miniscope, is anyone know how much we should cut away the 2 mm lens, in order to have the right pitch and focus plane for imaging? Do you know where we could order the lens with prism, besides inscopix? Thank you!

Thank you very much! It is very helpful!  :)

I found one strange thing with the video after imaging with the miniscope. The total frame number of behavCam and msCam is not identical. Would you mind to help to tell me is it correct? If it is right, could you help to tell me how could I adjust the time stamps in frame of behavCam and msCam?

Data Analysis / how to select best alignment in msRUN?
« on: May 16, 2017, 03:35:59 PM »
In the msRun, it has one step ask me to select best alignment (Enter number), when it has a histogram there (attached image), but I am not clear how could I decide the best alignment based on that image. Could you help to give some advice? Thank you very much in advance!

Thank you very much!

I will try with the filters and mirrors you suggested.

To works with RCaMp and the excitation and emission of this protein are at 587 nm and 610 nm. could you help to tell me which LED and filter and mirror of the miniscope should I select?
To work with the GCaMP6, I have ordered the ET470/40x, T495lpxr and ET525/50m from the CHROMA company. But not sure about the pieces work with RCaMp. Hope you could share some ideas. Thank you very much!
