Title: The Data link light on the DAQ PCB could not be turned on
Post by: KK Ji on September 22, 2017, 07:08:35 PM
Hi Daniel,

We have recently assembled a new miniscope and there is an issue that we need your help on.

The program stopped functioning after 15 minutes.  The red light on the CMOS PCB and the blue excitation LED are both on.  However, the Date link light on the DAQ PCB could not be turned on, the other two LEDs are on and stable.  We have checked all of the ports and it does not seem to fix the problem.  We also tried to use another miniscope to connect the same DAQ PCB and that works with clear images produced.

Please help us out regarding this.  Thanks very much for your time.

Hi KK Ji,
This sounds like an issue with the coax cable solder joints on the CMOS PCB or the Coax2SMA PCB. I would suggest desoldering the coax cable completely and either soldering on a new one or trimming the ends of the old coax cable and re-solder it back.
