Hello Everyone, I just setup a signup sheet for our 7th Miniscope Group PCB Order. Ordering as a group decreases per board costs which is significant when ordering only a few PCBs. Expect the DAQ PCB to run about $200 a board and the CMOS Imaging Sensor PCB to run about $115 a board. The company making the PCBs in located in California but can ship internationally.

How will the payment be made? Do you accept P/O numbers?
-
The payment will be handled by Sierra Circuits and can be handled by your university the same way they handle other purchase order requests.

I was going through the Master Parts List and was a little bit confused about what components (e.g. CMOS sensor, coaxial cable, SMA conncetor, etc.) are or are not included in the group order with Sierra Circuits. Would it be possible to add a column in the Parts List to mark the items that will be covered by the group order? Thanks!

Hi Wendy,
All components for the CMOS PCB and DAQ PCB are included in the Sierra Circuits order except coax cable and EEPROM memory. I like your suggestion to add a column on the part's list highlighting what is and is not included. I'll do this soon.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks a lot! That is going to be very helpful.

Hey Daniel,
I was just wondering if you placed the group order with Sierra Circuits already. If not, when will you do so? And do you know approximately when they will have the order ready to ship?
Cheers,
Ed (Z.L.) Li

Hi Ed,
We haven't placed this group order yet. You will receive an email when this group order is ready to be placed with instructions of what is needed from all the participants. We will likely move forward with the order next week and it usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from that point to when the PCBs are shipped.

Great!
